Since we just published our Best Books of 2019 (So Far) feature and since we write about books every month and since reading is fundamental, we’re inviting you to the inaugural BYT Summer Book Swap. On Tuesday, July 23 beginning at 5 p.m. at Eaton DC, bring books you love, books you hate, books you planned to read but let’s be honest, you’re not going to read them and pick up a book or two you will read!
Let us know you’re coming so we know how many tables and books we’ll need to make sure everyone goes home with new beach reading.
You don’t need to bring a book to participate but it would be nice. You can bring as many books as you’d like to unload because we all know giving is better than receiving. There’s no cover and a cash bar is on site. Tell your literate friends!
P.S. What doesn’t get picked up, we’ll donate to Carpe Librum, because literacy matters.
