You’re more than likely familiar with our weekend guide, but there’s still a lot to mark down on ye olde calendrier during the weekdays. Hence this pocket guide! We’ll cover everything from tunes to books to art to…you name it, basically; if it’s virtual, and good, we’re gonna talk about it:

Beginning in tunes territory…

We’ve also got Sizzy Rocket streaming live from an abandoned theme park (as one does) at 9pm ET, and tickets start at $10 with merch and virtual meet ‘n greet upgrades available.

On Wednesday, meanwhile, Beau will take over BABY TV starting at 8pm ET for $5, or if you’re more into supporting the Georgia runoff election, Pearl Jam and Lin-Manuel Miranda are going live starting from 8:30pm ET for $10+.

Thursday be sure to catch Courtney Barnett streaming at 8pm ET for $18, plus there’s an LA Gives Back 24-hour Global Telethon happening via Twitch ft. Baths, Claud, MNDR, Pussy Riot, Rufus Wainwright and loads more.

Then on Friday scope Hot Chip, Kero Kero Bonito, Django Django, LA Priest and more via DICE at 8pm ET; the event is to support Crisis, and tickets start at $6.70. At 6pm ET, meanwhile, we’ve got a Save The Senate benefit ft. Amanda Palmer, Death Valley Girls, Ani DiFranco, Courtney Marie Andrews, Buzzy Lee, Erin Rae, Sadie Dupuis and more; tickets to that one will run you $15+. If you’re more in a Yo La Tengo mood, catch a virtual edition of the band’s annual Hanukkah show at 8pm ET for $20+. OR hit up Smithsonian’s virtual solstice party starting at 7:30pm ET ft. DJ sets, tutorials, talks, trivia and more; tickets are $15.

On Saturday, catch the KEXPY Awards starting at 8pm ET over on KEXP’s YouTube channel ft. Waxahatchee, Black Belt Eagle Scout and more.

And on Sunday, catch a big Wainwright family holiday extravaganza on Veeps ft. Rufus, Martha and Lucy starting at 3pm ET; tickets are $20+.

Conversations ‘n such!

Catch Rachel Brosnahan chatting with Judith Light on Monday at 7:30pm ET via 92Y; they’ll be talking I’m Your Woman and Yearly Departed, and you can register online to attend for free.

Then on Tuesday, join The Phillips Collection as they host artist John Edmonds in a conversation with Ashley James, Associate Curator of Contemporary Art at The Guggenheim. Starts at 5:30pm ET, free w/ registration.

On Wednesday you can scope Darren Star, Lily Collins, Philippine Leroy Beaulieu, Ashley Park and Lucas Bravo talking about Emily in Paris via 92Y at 8pm ET. (Free w/ online registration.) If you’re more into fromage vibes, though, make sure to set an alarm for a 6pm ET Books Are Magic chat with Anne Saxelby all about The New Rules of Cheese. OR if art ‘n animation are more your jam, catch German-Japanese American artist Kota Ezawa in conversation via Hirshhorn at 7pm ET.

Thursday you should 110% tune into NMWA’s virtual happy hour celebrating Louise Bourgeois’ birthday at 5:30pm ET; there’ll be a specialty cocktail tutorial, special guests and more, and it’s free to attend w/ registration.

And on Friday, scope a free Hirshhorn artist talk w/ Molly Joyce at noon.
