Your Weekend Cocktail: A Boy Named Sue @ Black Jack

When Black Jack announced their new cocktails and bar manager E. Jay Apaga decided to use Johnny Cash for alcoholic inspiration, we knew we had to make A Boy Named Sue a Your Weekend Cocktail.

A Boy Named Sue: A variation of a Morgenthaler Amaretto Sour.
1.5 oz Bakers 7yr Bourbon
1.0 oz Luxardo Amaretto
.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
.25 oz Simple Syrup

– combine all ingredients over ice
– shake vigorously for 12-15 seconds
– strain over fresh ice
– garnish with two brandied cherries
