Garage rock duo Deaf Poets are on a tear lately, opening shows for Matt and Kim, getting their track “Degenerate Mind” on the new Tony Hawk game, and drawing comparisons to the Strokes and Arctic Monkeys. Not bad, eh?
Well, we’ve got some brand brand new for you today. We’re happy to premiere the new video for their forthcoming single, “What Am I To Do.” The single will be out everywhere July 1, and will be on their new album, which is being mixed by Jim Diamond (The Dirt Bombs, The White Stripes, Electric Six) and out later this year. The vid is shot in a single take and features an activity that you’d definitely want to do to your friends.
