- October 30 – October 31 – El Centro is hosting some seriously spooky Halloween parties. Including a costume contest, Mexican cocktails and dishes, and fun.
- October 30 – Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak, and Stone Crab along with Kevin Bratt and Chris Upchurch from DeLille Cellars are hosting a multi-course dining extravaganza. You know, if Halloween parties aren’t your thing.
- October 31 – Spend your Halloween figuring out a murder mystery at the Grille at Morrison House over a themed three-course dinner and cocktail hour.
- November 6 – It’s the last night of International Sherry Week. It’s Asian Market Night at Dolcezza. There will be sherry-based gelato, Buredo sushi burritos, Chao Ku noodles, and more.
- November 19 – January 4 – Sticky Rice Baltimore is converting its Fells Point location into a gallery space for “Pop-Culture Pop-Up”.

- Next time you go to Ben’s Chili Bowl, look up. The family behind Ben’s opened Ten 01, a restaurant and rooftop bar that is literally upstairs. (via Eater).
- Arlington’s Thirsty Bernie may or may not be becoming a lounge/nightclub hybrid (via Eater).
- Nando’s replaced the College Park staple Ratsie’s (via Eater).
- Caviar fusion is real and its coming to D.C. in the form of a new restaurant, Odessa (via PoPville).
- Bullfrog Bagels is opening a second location and it’s going to be by Eastern Market (via PoPville).
- There’s a new gluten free bakery in Falls Church and its called The Happy Tart (via Eater).
- Union Social is open in NoMa (via PoPville).
- Quinten Frye, the guy from Big Bear Cafe, is launching a delivery service called Cocina Tortas. Ideal for when the office is craving tortas or when you’re craving an office worth’s amount of tortas (Washington City Paper).
- Ocean Prime, presumably a seafood restaurant (?), is replacing Ceiba this summer (via PoPville).
- R & D Supper Club is the brainchild of Big Bear Café’s Quinten Frye. The first R & D Supper Clubs will be happening on Sunday, November 8 and Monday, November 9.
- Former White House Pastry Chefs Patrick Musel and Susan Limb are using their skills to create a delicious fall menu for Praline Bakery & Bistro.
- There’s a new service dedicated to recommending and sending you alcohol and its called Drinkeasy. There are lots of ways this could go wrong.
- Maneki Neko opened a second location in Arlington (via Eater).
- Kapnos Taverna opened a new location at Reagan National Airport: your favorite food and the one of the places you hate the most (via Washingtonian).
- Bozzelli’s Deli & Pizza is coming to K Street. It’s going to be cashless though, so if you want a free meal out of your friend make sure you forget all of your credit/debit cards at home (via PoPville).
