Upcoming Food Events:

  • Throughout May – Donate $2 to No Kid Hungry at Shake Shack and receive a complimentary card for a hand-spun shake as part of Shake Shack’s 4th annual Great American Shake Sale.
  • May 21 Margarita Wars is back at the Navy Yard for its third year. Get your ticket now to watch 18 mixologists from the DC area battle for the winner title, and enjoy unlimited margarita tastings.
  • May 21 – Chefs Danny Lee and Jesse Miller are teaming up with Compass Rose for a Korean Night Market pop up.
  • May 22 – Starting May 22, Del Campo will begin a late night happy hour from 10pm to 12am Thursday through Saturday. Drink specials and bar bites available
  • May 25 – Join in on the Memorial Day festivities with City Tap House’s Inaugural Oyster “Shuckfest.” Stop by for food, live bluegrass music and a game of cornhole.

  • May 29 – The Del Campo at Dusk series kicks off with Swineface pork extravaganza on the rooftop from 6pm to 9pm.
  • May 30 – Starting May 30th, Zentan will offer chef and bar oriented classes. The first class will be all about sushi where guests can learn how to make heart shaped rolls.
  • Late May – New Ledroit Park neighborhood restaurant The Royal to officially open toward the end of May. Expect an extensive wine list and house made Vermouth at this new eatery from the owner of Vinoteca.
  • June 1Chef Elliot Drew of G will be holding a pasta making technique class and demonstration. Attendees will not only learn how to make things like tortellini from scratch, but also enjoy complimentary wine and samples of all dishes.
  • June 5 and following FridaysPearl Dive Oyster Palace is combating the surge population of Blue Catfish by offering a bottomless Blue Catfish special every Friday starting June 5th.
  • June 6 – Black Jack and Pearl Dive Oyster Palace to Host Oyster and Grower Champagne Tasting.
  • June 6 – Zentan’s summer class series continues with a Negroni Week cocktail class.
  • June 8 through 12Graffiato will present a Jersey Shore themed menu that will include boardwalk bites like disco fries and fried chicken.
  • June 15 – Celebrate National Bourbon Day at Barrel with a tasting and dinner menu chosen specifically for the occasion.
  • Summer LongDel Campo will be offering a fixed price traditional Argentine asado dinner
