  • We ate burgers for hours at Cafe Deluxe and felt no shame.

  • May 2 Republic Kolache is hosting a sneak peek party in preparation its official launch at Bardo Barpub with free kolaches and live folk music on the patio.
  • May 2 – Enjoy the 141st Running of the Kentucky Derby with food and drink specials to transport you to the South.
    • Look forward to the festivities at Little Miss Whiskey’s Dollar with an all-you-can-eat-and-drink Pig Roast.
    • Jack Rose Dining Saloon is celebrating the running of the roses in style with a cigar lounge, live viewing area, drink specials and prizes for best dressed.
  • May 2 and 3 The National Harbor hosts the Wine & Food Festival with 150+ local and international wines, beers and spirits alongside food offerings and live cooking demonstrations.
  • May 3 – Celebrate spring in the District with a sidewalk sale, face painting (because we’re all children at hear), live music and a pig roast at Pike & Rose.
  • May 3 Cashion’s Eat Place is launching a new cocktail takeover series, “Decades of Cocktails,” that focuses on nostalgic drinks from the past. Check out the first installment, and enjoy 1950s themed drinks and complimentary snacks.
  • May 4  – It’s the “Burger Days of Summer” for a limited time only at Cafe Deluxe, where they’ll be offering six new burgers, including the Philly Cheesesteak Burger and the Red White and Blue. Summer is in the air and we can almost taste it, literally.


  • May 4 to 8 Granville Moore’s is holding a week-long celebration in honor of their RAMMY nomination, which means a week of good deals on good beer for you.
