We just announced our 7th annual Get Beaujolaid with BYT event at 1905! Free wine, French music, and French kissing. Tickets are only $10! Buy now. This sells-out far in advance every year.

We tested the Bottomless Brunch at Boqueria.

We sampled Harth’s Fall menu, and are pretty enamored with the bacon jam.
- We tasted a lot of alcohol this week: Glenmorangie at Jack Rose, Fall Cocktails at Gibson, and scotch with the Cordial Scotch Series at Union Market.
- Perogies, pumpkin soup, and horseradish vodka warmed us up during our taste test of Mari Vanna.
- The Taste of Chile event was delicious and fishy and pisco-y.

Friday, November 7th – The Poste Winter Lounge is reopening this Friday, and will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays. The lounge features hot cocktails, make-your-own s’mores, and heating lamps and blankets to keep you warm.

Saturday, November 8th – The 2nd Annual DC Beer Fest is today at National’s Park. 75 craft breweries will be present and featuring fall seasonal beers. In addition, there will be live music, DJs, games, and food from a few local food trucks.

Tuesday, November 11th – DC Central Kitchen’s 11th annual food fight is today! Carla Hall and Anthony Bourdain are hosting this competition, as four local chefs are competing in an Iron Chef-style battle.

Tuesday, November 11th – In honor of Veteran’s Day, any veteran or member of active military will receive a 50% discount for parties of two or less, and a 25% discount for parties of three or more, with military ID at BLT Steak.

Wednesday, November 12th – Neighborhood Farm Initiative is hosting their annual Harvest Ball. It is a celebration of the Fall harvest, with local food from vendors around the city. Tickets are $35 and proceeds benefit the Neighborhood Farm Initiative.

Friday, November 14th – Sunday, November 15th – Union Market is hosting a weekend-long street festival. The event includes Bluejacket’s first ever pop-up beer garden, the EmporiYUM food festival, and more.
