Sweetgreen will be kicking off summer right with the third annual Sweetlife Festival this Saturday at Merriweather Post Pavilion. After last year’s banger, the festival keeps bringing the big names in local food and music: Rappahannock, Flying Dog, and others will be serving up grub and brews while Phoenix and Passion Pit headline the main stage. Plus, they’ve scheduled rap’s new heavyweight, Kendrick Lamar.
Lamar’s riding high this year, covering VIBE’s 2013 Big List issue and earning gold certification for good kid, m.A.A.d city. He even snagged Jay-Z for the official “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe” Remix.
