We love Pulp and do not hide this. Since we’re having a spy themed party this Friday, it makes sense to post this performance of “I Spy” by Pulp on Jools Holland’s show in 1995.

I don’t think we appreciated Pulp enough during their first run. In  retrospect, Jarvis Cocker is a much more captivating figure than any Oasis or Blur band member, cooler than anyone else wearing a skinny tie in 1995 and slept with your wife and smoked your cigarettes for at least 16 weeks.

Cocker’s solo material is good too, especially “Further Complications.” But we’re having that party so this has been in my head for a week or so.
