Remember June of 2010, when Svetlana said if you should be jealous of anyone it was Ryma and I for gettting to attend the launch of THE CREATOR’S PROJECT in NYC? Well it looks like VICE is up to it’s old (but way cooler) tricks again. This time in Brooklyn and this time to celebrate emancipation from technological bullies and red tape bullshit — and guess what? You’re invited. Fuck yes. I’ll let the press release do the rest of the talking:
Following years of hard work, arm wrestling over domain names, and a little bit of high-tech stuff that we can’t even begin to understand, we’re proud to announce that VICE.COM is here. We’ve combined VBS.TV and Viceland.com to create a super dupe one-stop-content-shop for all the videos and words you’ve come to expect from VICE.
Being that we’re VICE, we decided to throw a party to celebrate our new URL with our best friends, like you and Rick Ross. RSVP is now open, details and flier below. Space will be limited.
Full Frontal VICE | The Official Launch of VICE.COM | Presented by boinc
Thursday, September 15th | 9:00PM – 3:00AM
Skylight One Hanson | One Hanson Place, Brooklyn
General public can RSVP (space will be limited | 21+): http://www.vice.com/rsvp
CONGRATULATIONS VICE! + WE’LL BE THERE!
