Madeon: “The City” (ft. Zak Waters)
Madeon, is the 18 year-old French/producer phenom that has pretty much conquered the world with his insane ability to create infectious and euphoric dance sounds. ‘The City’ is his third single for 2012, and by far this best. Featuring LA based singer Zak Waters on vocals, ‘The City’ is a huge-pop explosion that draws on influences ranging from pure pop like Stuart Price to fellow French pioneers Daft Punk, with a big euphoric underbelly that is faintly reminiscent of Calvin Harris, but together is it something bright and new. This is one of the most exciting things to happen to dance/pop this year.
