every tuesday we will recommend you fried food:

bcse your arteries and cholesterol levels mean SQUAT to us.

this week: the magic that is Tots.

Tater Tots, also known as “Tots”, is a registered trademark for a commercial form of hash browns,

a side-dish made from deep-fried,

grated potatoes.

Tater tots are widely recognized for their crispy, cylindrical shape and small size;

unlike hash browns (which can be oftentimes as large as a child’s shoe), Tater Tots never exceed the size of a C battery.

This fact (and their ease of preparation) has made them amongst the world’s most popular finger foods.

Tater Tots are commonly found in the U.S. in cafeterias and school lunch-counters, as well as the supermarket frozen food aisle and some fast food restaurants.

and in the glorious CITY that is DC

(and the all important 10 block radius)

there is really only one place to go for such golden goodness:

Bar Pilar.

and remember. eating them in a photobooth in a 4 photo time span may cause choking.
