Hooray! We’ve got the brand new video for the song, “A Million Years“, from Alex Ebert (you know, the main dude from Edward Sharpe & the Magenetic Zeros) off of his eponymous debut album, Alexander, which is out now. (You can download the track here, thanks to the nice folks at Vagrant. Now go buy the album off iTunes here)

But what’s better than previewing a new video? Tickets to the show of course.  Alexander and Family come to Sixth & I Synagogue on May 31st. Tickets went on sale this morning at 10am (go buy them here if you hate contests) but we’ve got a pair to give away. Double hooray!!

TO WIN TICKETS: Just tell us your favorite frontman turned solo artist (and back again). I’ll go first:  Hands down its got to be Paul Banks of Interpol (but you knew that dear reader, didn’t you?).  Winner will be selected by next Friday, so use a real email address when you comment!

Ps. New music from Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros is also right around the corner, you can catch a video the of the band performing “Up From Below” live in Mexico last month here: http://youtu.be/CNp4p3DZ2Nk?hd=1
