Finally! We can wear our flannels without sweating through them. D.C. has suddenly taken a chill pill and after that grueling summer heat we are very happy to see that global warming is just a myth*. So throw on your puffy vest, tie up your bean boots and get outside because if there’s one thing we know about D.C., it’s that this perfect fall weather will not last long.

Burn off some calories during happy hour while all your friends sit inside consuming them. The only thing better than trading in your beer for your bike and a nice autumn night ride is being able to brag to people about how much better you are than them for doing so. Wheel on over to Hains Point at 5:30 p.m. and enjoy a free training session from District Hardware and Coach Rob of Foundy Multisport.
All aboard the yoga yacht! Cruise past the National monuments while completing a 60 minute vinyasa yoga class taught by Erin Seaboyer. The Boomerang Party Yacht and Pirate Ship Company are combing to let you unwind from the stressful work week and enjoy the beautiful sites of D.C. The ship sets sail on the Georgetown Waterfront at 6 p.m.
Keep your eyes peeled for the old Taylor Swift on your stroll through Congressional Cemetery because we have it on good authority that she’s dead. Join the walking tour at 7:15 p.m. on Friday at Wisdom and be guided through Congressional for the tour. In case you didn’t get enough liquid courage before the tour, head back to Wisdom afterwards to enjoy 15% off of your tab for the rest of the night.
Oh hay! Old City Farm & Guild’s annual Fall Festival kicks off this Saturday at 10 a.m. All day long there will be live music, pumpkin carving, artisanal vendors, food trucks, and more. Get there right on time to enjoy a free yoga class in the gardens with Nicole Nandy and enjoy the rest of your Saturday on the farm with Old McDonald.
Calling all yogi’s! Don’t namaste in bed all of Sunday, get up and head over to the Watergate Hotel at 7 a.m. Get your yoga flow on while taking in the scenic views of the Potomac River and Washington Monument. In case the views aren’t enticing enough, there will be a rooftop continental brunch and bottomless mimosas afterwards.
