Bootcamp & Brews @ lululemon Clarendon

Join Cordaro Fit for a free evening workout class on the rooftop of lululemon in Clarendon. The class will then head over to Don Tito’s rooftop for a cold one after an intense workout session, so bring some cash for the brews.

Yoga at the Farmers Market in Crofton, MD

Grab some friends and take an evening field trip to Crofton for a free yoga class at the local farmers market. Bring your mat and make sure to pick up some fresh produce before you leave. Whether you’re a yoga master or have never practiced before, this class is for everyone.

Nature in Motion Tour @ U.S. Botanic Garden

This guided nature walk is the perfect way to wind down at the end of the work week. Throughout the tour, instructors will pause and guide participants in calming stretching exercises. The sights are not to miss with all that’s in bloom right now.

FRIDAY (2)

Wetland Workday @ Kingman Island

Bring your boots and waders to this Anacostia wetlands restoration day. In addition to walking quite a bit, participants will help plant wetland plants, clean up debris and garbage, and repair fencing. Register here to help restore the local environment- no experience necessary.

SATURDAY (1)

2017 Walk to Fight Suicide- Overnight Walk @ The Capitol

Join the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in its annual walk to bring awareness to suicide prevention. This event provides a space for healing and comfort for everyone. Whether you are walking in memory of a loved one or just because you support the cause, this is a wonderful event to donate your time to.

City Cycling Class

Bring your dad on a leisurely morning bike ride focused on building skills and helping you feel better about biking in the city. It ends just in time to bring your old man to a bottomless brunch and eat back all the calories he burned during the ride. Purchase your $10 tickets here.
