Zumba by No Excuse Workout @ National Harbor
Zumba is one of the best ways to exercise because you don’t even have to be good at it. We like that. The Capital Wheel is provides an amazing view while you sweat your brains out too.
This 21+ party hosted by the IVy Project will feature $5 drinks and lots of rainbow swag to wear to the rest of your pride events this week. Beat the Hump Day slump by dancing your heart out with fellow queers in the great outdoors.
Capital Pride’s Rooftop Pool Party @ The Yards
Gear up for pride weekend with a splash. Get it. Because pool party. A ticket, which you can buy here, will get you two free drink tickets and light appetizers as well as full access to aquatic fun. Whether you bring friends or fly solo, this event is sure to be a blast.
If you’ve ever wanted to sip on craft beer while playing 18th century lawn games, this is the event for you. Stroll around and admire the sunset as you sample chocolate from Mount Vernon’s chocolatiers and jam out to live bluegrass music. This blast from the past combines food and drink with leisurely activities and music, the perfect way to win down your work week.

Hopefully your parade hangover has subsided, because justice knows no recovery time. Today is all about activism, so prepare your lungs and vocal chords accordingly. Pro tip: sleep in the clothes you wore to Pride Parade to save yourself the trouble of getting ready twice in a row.
