In case you haven’t noticed, it’s been oddly warm for February. Even though we’re supposed to be in the dead of winter, the spring-like weather has got us, and hopefully you, itching to get outside. Here’s a round up of what you can do this week in the great outdoors.

WEDNESDAY (3)Rooftop Yoga with KICK Fitness

Channel your inner yogi while watching the sun set. As long as the weather allows for it, KICK Fitness will be offering yoga classes on the roof of the Atlantic Plumbing building in Shaw.

 

THURSDAY (2)Nike Run Club with WeWork DC

Get outside and get moving. On Thursday night, take advantage of the warm evening and go for a run. The Nike Run Club and WeWork DC are teaming up to get your blood pumping. All runners will get to choose what distance they’ll go, with the run starting and ending at WeWork DC. Start stretching!

FRIDAY (2)

Columbia Heights and Adams Morgan Run with DC Capital Striders

Get up as the sun rises and get moving this Friday. Join the D.C. Capital Striders for a run through Columbia Heights and Adams Morgan.

SATURDAY (1)

Hills of Anacostia with Bicycle Space

Finally find out of all of those cycling classes are paying off. Join Bicycle Space and ride through the hills of Anacostia on Saturday morning.

Hike the Billy Goat Trail with REI

I’ve never been one for hiking, but with this weather any thing is possible. Join REI’s Winter Hiking Series and hike the Billy Goat Trail this weekend. Just because it’s February doesn’t mean you can’t get outside!
