- Church Nights ends their Wonderland Ballroom run before setting up their new church at Black Cat. Buy tickets in advance. Their shows always sell-out.
- De Lux will be bringing the post-disco electro-funk to U Street Music Hall for the early shift.Â
- Animal Collective’s Dave Portner will be at U Street Music Hall as Avey Tare later that night. Go if you like noises!
- Blue October will be at the Fillmore because they’re still around.
- Improv group Separate Beds will be interviewing a local celebrity then making up a 45-minute improvised show based on that interview at the District of Columbia Arts Center.  $10 general admission, $8 if you’re a member of DCAC.
- Amanda Palmer will be at Sixth and I to talk about her new book, The Art of Asking. So that’s what she’s been up to…
