  • The Avalanches are at 9:30 Club. I did not think this would ever happen.

  • It’s Pride week so there’s a lot of Pride events, which makes sense. Because it’s Pride Week. Go see some poetry at the Exploding Rainbows and F’king (they’re not using the correct spelling of fucking for some reason because if you use * or ‘ it’s appropriate?) Unicorns at Woolly Mammoth or meet Drag Race alums Delta Work and Alexis Michelle at Cobalt. You know how it’s Pride Week? We’re hosting the Friday night party. Buy tickets now. Advance tickets are cheaper and close to selling out.

  • We gave away tickets for this star studded show: David Lynch Foundation presents A Night of Laughter & Song with Jerry Seinfeld, Hugh Jackman, Jay Leno, Katie Couric, Margaret Cho, Deborra-lee Furness, Kesha, Ben Folds, Angelique Kidjo, and Sharon Isbin at the Kennedy Center.
  • People sure do love listening to podcasts about what happened on November 8! Lovett or Leave It is at Lincoln Theatre for a second show. Pretending not to understand racism sure does move tickets!
  • It’s karaoke night at Songbyrd and it’s also Marky Mark’s birthday!
  • Aldous Harding with Luray is at DC9.
  • Skepta is at Fillmore Silver Spring. It’s a good night for live music.

  • Washington Psychotronic Film Society screens Seizure at Smoke & Barrel.
