On Saturday night the Capital One Arena hosted game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals. It was the first Stanley Cup Finals victory in Washington, D.C. (The Caps went 0-2 in the building against the Detroit Red Wings in 1998) As of this writing, the Washington Capitals are two wins away from winning the Stanley Cup.
