This year’s Citi Open contenders have some incredibly good boys, and I just think we should talk about it, don’t you? I KNEW YOU’D AGREE! So that’s what we’re going to do RIGHT NOW.
Rio and Luna belong to Puerto Rican tennis champ Monica Puig, who’s facing off against American Allie Kiick this afternoon! Luna apparently has a “more electric” personality than Rio, but they get along like two peas in a pod. (Or two tennis balls in a canister.)
These puppers miss their mom when she’s on the road, but they’ve always got each other to hang out with while she’s gone:
And then it’s celebration time when she’s back!
The Pegula Pups
Maddie, Dexter and Tucker don’t have their own IG, but they are frequently showcased on mom Jessie’s account, and she CLEARLY LOVES THEM THE MOST! They’re wishing her the best as she takes on Iga Świątek in the round of 16 tomorrow.
When they are together, they love to take family portraits:
AND they’re very supportive of their mom’s business ventures, like her new skincare line Ready 24:
Overall, a very good bunch!
Lady Kady belongs to South African player Kevin Anderson, and is a rescued Chiweenie (!!!) who helps to raise money for puppers in need, which is incredibly noble of her!
While she loves tennis, and is rooting for her dad against Adrian Mannarino tomorrow…
…she’s also a fan of other sports, like soccer:
She’s also stepping up to be a big sister soon:
But her dad is always gonna be her no. 1:
Kona is admittedly a little camera shy, but will for sure be rooting on Jack as he goes head to head against Jordan Thompson this afternoon!
While Magill doesn’t have his own IG, he gets plenty of airplay on big brother John’s account!
He’s 11 years young, and wishing his bro the best in his match against Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz tomorrow:
And is a BIG tennis fan, which is v. on brand:
He’s also an advocate for charitable work, like his help with raising money for the Houston Humane Society. He and John make the best team!
King (and Quincy!) Kyrgios
Speaking of tennis players with canine siblings, Nick Kyrgios’ baby brother’s name is King! They love playing around together:
But they’re also cool just to nap:
And latest edition Quincy has completed the trio // ULTIMATE SQUAD GOALS, and ultimate cheering section when it comes to Kyrgios’ match tonight against Thai-Son Kwiatkowski:
