I know you don’t need an excuse to drink tequila, but hey, I’m feeling generous so I am giving you one: It’s National Tequila Month!
Yup, it’s true, and El Centro D.F. has a whole lot going on throughout the month at both their locations. First of all, they are featuring two special drinks and several new dishes.
Drinks include two new house-made tequila infusions: pineapple/sage and grapefruit/lime/lemongrass which are available for just $5.
Food items include ceviche with grilled shrimp, silky poblano mashed potatoes, roasted corn cooked with spices and herbs, housemade guacamole, and a fabulous tequila infused ice cream served in a crispy chocolate waffle cone.
Other events for National Tequila Month include two Meet the Makers Dinners where there will be a reception and dinner with tequila pairings. Tickets for these dinners, which will be held on July 14th and 21st at both locations, are $69.
On July 28th there is a National Tequila Month party, where for $39 you can have 3 drinks and food from a buffet that will feature tacos, tortas, empanadas, flautas, quesadillas, chips and salsa, guacamole, Mexican rice, and refried beans.
Put on your sombrero and get ready to party!
