Chances are you’ve been spending A LOT of time at home lately, so you might be ready for a little interior design boost, right? Well, there’s a REALLY GOOD way to spruce up your space and support STABLE (check out our 2018 interview) at the same time; the organization (which focuses on bolstering DC’s contemporary visual arts community by providing affordable and sustainable studio space) has partnered with Between Bridges for a super cool fine art poster benefit, and you’ve got until August 2nd to get involved.
The 2020Solidarity project (the brainchild of Between Bridges and artist Wolfgang Tillmans) has teamed up with over 50 blue-chip artists from around the world to design art posters benefiting 90+ nonprofits and cultural venues that have been impacted during COVID-19. STABLE is offering 11 of these designs for purchase on their website, and all you have to do to get your hands on one is make a $50 donation on their website. Then, you can either pick up your poster in-person, or you can specify a US-based address where your purchase can be sent.
100% of proceeds will support STABLE’s community engagement committee, a developing initiative that will support their Eckington and greater DC community-focused public programming events and outreach.
