Sunbathers are set to release a brand new concept EP titled The Pool Party Friday June 7th, and we are SUPER pumped to bring you the video premiere for opening track “Urbody”! It’s a visual stunner, and a perfect companion to the infectious tune. (Pairs well with: driving in a top down convertible, hanging out on a rooftop at golden hour, existing in any sort of idyllic summery setting.)
“When we set out to make a video for ‘Urbody’, we started by discussing with Billy (director and editor) the themes of vulnerability and intimacy expressed in the track’s lyrics. We were drawn to the concept of a partnered dance performance – mirrored and intertwined. As Billy had worked on our previous videos for ‘Intimacy’ and ‘Honeysuk’, he was already familiar with our aesthetic tastes. We love how Camille and James’ choreography so acutely captures that sense of losing oneself to something bigger and more significant.”
