Thursday, September 4th: Fashion show at O’Sullivan’s in Arlington, presented by Chico’s clothing and Mary Kay Cosmetics.  Proceeds benefit the Mary Kay Foundation. Event is free, but you can donate $5 or $10 ($10 gets you a swag bag, too).

Friday, September 5th: Eros & Royals is a “new pop up food and fashion experience.” Their pop-up restaurant this Friday in Alexandria is inspired by the fashion industry. Not sure exactly what any of that entails, but the menu looks good.

Saturday, September 6th: Score some vintage and second-hand duds at the Bowie Fashionista Flea Market. Admission is free, but they ask that you RSVP.

Saturday, September 6th: For the mens- get dressed up and have your picture taken at the Cocktails and Cufflinks Bossa Nova Nights event this Saturday at BeanGood in Arlington. There will be live jazz and hors d’oeuvres.  Event is free but RSVP is requested.

ALSO: Keep these events in mind for later-

Wednesday, September 17th: “Fashion. Grooming. Cocktails.”

Saturday & Sunday, September 20th & 21st: Get educated about the industry at the massive, 2-day Fashion 360 Conference by District Fete.  This conference is held annually and this year will cover topics such as PR and branding, beauty, fashion technology, and tons more about the biz side of the industry. Attend one or both days.
