You already know about Transformer. You’ve been to their cool art exhibitions and have hit up their excellent gallery parties, but it’s time to take your relationship to the next level. Once a year, Transformer takes over the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design and throws a next level party. There’s food and drinks and dancing and music (DJ Natty Boom! DJ bent!) and performances (Rex Delafkaran! Tsedaye Makonnen! Naoko Wowsugi! DuPont Brass!), but more than that, there’s art. Tons of it.

While you dance and drink and party and compare outfits (because everyone looks killer) folks are walking around the room, bidding on over 200 pieces of some of the most exciting art in D.C. To get you ready for the whole shebang, we have a little preview of some of the amazing art that will be available. If you’re looking to jump start your first adult art collection (and support Transformer at the same time), this is the perfect place to start.
