We asked some of our favorite musicians to give us lists of their favorite songs for summertime, and our EIGHTH installment comes from our homegirl Lacrymosa (Caitlin Pasko); she’s into tunes from Wet, Mr Twin Sister, Ramona Lisa, Beach House and MORE, so prepare to have the summeriest of sounds fill your ears this Tuesday morning (and forever), AND prepare to catch her live at Cake Shop TOMORROW NIGHT. (You should also follow her on Facebook, Instagram and Soundcloud for all the latest news, yeah? And mark your calendars for 9/29, when she’ll be at Palisades!) HERE WE GO!

*You can watch all of these tunes play out in one steady video stream HERE, but for now, we will dissect each one individually:

Sunbeam Sound Machine – “Wandering, I”

This album came out back in November, but I only just discovered it last month via a lucky YouTube recommendation. This song just puts me right up on a roof top, where it’s meant to be listened to.

I’lls – “Let Me Have Just One”

Simon’s voice!!! The arrangement, the samples, the programming… everything.

Tame Impala – “Let It Happen”

I mean…

Wet – “You’re The Best”

This song has been on my mind lately since they re-released the track with a [presh] new video.

Sui Zhen – “Take It All Back”

Sui Zhen is releasing a new album soon and I’ve been listening to it a lot. This song on a road trip is the best thing.

Elisa Coia – “This Human Ache”

I basically just listen to this song on repeat all day long.

Thundercat – “Them Changes”

This just puts me in a good mood.

Gemma – “As Ever”

This song hurts but it’s fun to sing along to.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra – “Can’t Keep Checking My Phone”

This song is actually ridiculous but I love it completely.

Ramona Lisa – “Backwards And Upwards”

I’ve been listening to this album a lot lately ever since she posted all of her choreography videos. It’s a crime they don’t have more views!

Mr Twin Sister – “In The House of Yes”

Saw these babes twice in Chicago recently and have been listening to this album and dancing to it a lot.

Beach House – “Sparks”

Howww do they keep changing so much from album to album while also not really changing at all? I love this song.

Airwaves – “Milky Way”

I listened to this and almost only this for a week straight in June.
