For this inexplicably sunny (and kind of warm) Friday, we have a song that is made for listening to in the sunshine.
Ghostel is made up of Bryce Buckmaster (who sounds much older than his 23 years), Daniel Knowles (who you might remember from the shoegaze band Amusement Parks on Fire) and Jennifer Farmer. Featuring Annie Hardy (of Giant Drag), they’ve created a retro tinged jam that is stuffed to the brim with sound. There’s children’s voices, a choir, some jangly piano kids and so much more. In other songs, this would be a red flag, but Ghostel manages to make it work.
Grab a beer, step out in the sunshine and press play.
