Halloween is one of the biggest holidays in these United States. It’s a day/weekend/week/month full of candy, pumpkins, and all sorts of other scary stuff. And just because it’s Halloween doesn’t mean that you can’t still go out and enjoy a night of great music.

  • Lo Fang at U Street Music Hall – October 31 – 7 pm

BYT BFF Lo Fang returns to the DMV for a very special show at U Street Music Hall this Halloween. Real name, Matthew Hemerlein, is a classically trained musician and multi-instrumentalist, dabbling in violin, piano, bass, cello, and guitar. Head to U Hall this evening to catch what is undoubtedly going to be a very lovely (and probably not-so-spooky) set.

  • RL Grime at the 9:30 Club – October 31 – 10 pm

Drawing his name from the man who is responsible for everyone’s childhood nightmares, R.L. Stine, RL Grime hits the 9:30 Club tonight with Branchez and Tommy Kruise. RL Grime is no stranger to the frights of the holiday, and has released a Halloween Mix each year for the past two years. If you’re looking for a night of the loudest and bassiest electronic music, this is where you’ll want to be.

  • Halloween Mixtape at The Howard Theatre – October 31 – 11:59 pm
