BYT has joined forces with Amber Mahoney of The Present Company Project to create ShopGirls on Film — a column featuring DC’s creative minds. In preparation for Fashion’s Night Out (and because we’ve already spouted our love with inspirational playlistsandvideos), this month’s theme is FASHION.

Owned and operated by a a DC native with one fiercely sharp eye on fashion’s coolest trends, Redeem supplies the District with some of the suavest patterns and cuts the city has seen yet. (Just check out their men’s and women’s Fall/Winter outerwear lineup if you don’t believe us.)

Meet Lori Parkerson, the woman behind one of our fave boutiques….

Amber asked: If your store was a song, what would it be?

You can find Redeem at 1734 14th Street NW, open from Noon to 8:00pm (Wednesday-Saturday), and Noon to 6:00 on Sunday. (Closedu Tuesday.)
