The National Museum of Women in the Arts always goes all out for International Women’s Day (March 8), but this year, they’ve outdone themselves. NMWA is kicking it up a notch and turning themselves into the dream International Women’s Day venue by offering free admission to their excellent museum, plus yoga pop-ups, art talks, live music, some sweet vendors and a special edition mini BYT book swap! (FOCUS ON FEMALE AUTHORS, naturally! But everyone is invited to come by, also naturally!)

Spend your day checking out their latest exhibition, grabbing a bite to eat, popping into a mini art lecture, picking up a (free) book at the book swap, whatever you want to do. So clear your schedule on March 8 and spend your day kicking it with us at NMWA, it’s the best possible way to spend International Women’s Day.

Check out the full list of events below and make sure to RSVP to our sweet little book swap. Bring all your favorite books by women / non-binary authors and pick up some more books by women / non-binary authors! It’s all going to be great.

P.S. In the mood for more programming (and BYT Book Swaps?) we can all agree on? Check out our FutureIsFestival.com towards the end of March.
