After a rather odd – in a good way – but fantastic performance of The Picture of Dorian Gray, the after party, Vampire’s Ball, followed a few blocks down in an underground mall. I followed the audience while we all tried to read the map to find the Synetic Theatre’s new studio. We were greeted with a window to take pictures in front of paint, a small reminder of the play we just watched. The studio was covered with Halloween themed decor and many were in great costumes. A mild disappointment was the lack of vampires at the after party. Come on, it’s Vampire’s Ball! I really shouldn’t talk, I didn’t dress up at all.
