We celebrated Cinco de Mayo in the least traditional way possible, with a dope party at the newly renovated lululemon Georgetown! With an entire bar dedicated to Aperol spritzes, and another to jalapeño margaritas from our friends at Chacho, and a giant balloon installation, it was the place to start your weekend. Contortionists clad in lululemon showed us the potential of active wear (and made us all want to get better at yoga), everyone danced to tunes by DJ Stylus and Furniteur. Upstairs in the new communal sweat + connection space (where the awesome Transitional Objects exhibition is currently on view) a tarot card reader told us our futures and everyone enjoyed light bites from current (and former) Union Kitchen members Berg Bites, Momme Meals, The Cookie Jar and Gouter! Special thanks to Whole Foods for hooking us up with all the La Croix we could ever dream of (and so much more!) and to Urban Stems for helping us make the space spiffy.
All in all it was an amazing night to (re) welcome the brand to Georgetown. Check out all the freely flexible fun.
