Last week Flight Wine Bar celebrated their one year anniversary, and BYT was on hand to join in the festivities. Wine was free flowing, and guests were treated to a series of passed hors d’oeuvres.
If you haven’t been to wine bar, you should check it out soon. The charming, modern spot is a great spot for grabbing a glass of wine or a small bite to eat. Bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to make a recommendation. The menu has both small and large plates, with dishes like freshly baked bread, warm olives, red pepper risotto and a cheese plate. At the anniversary party guests were treated to two new dishes on the menu: fried cauliflower served with a zesty aioli and zucchini patties, which come with a lemon and honey dipping sauce.
The anniversary party also kicked off two new specials: 25% off of the owners’ favorite bottles on Wednesday nights and $7.00 glasses of any open bottle on Saturday nights.
All night happy hour will continue on Mondays, which features food and drink specials. Hey, getting drunk on wine on a Monday is underrated!
Come with friends, make new ones, or just hang solo. As Hemingway said, “a bottle of wine is good company.”
