I don’t know about you, but my inbox is stuffed to the brim with press releases, notices and invitations to Capital Fringe plays. While it’s very cool and we’re incredibly lucky that our city is blessed with a robust art and theatre festival like Capital Fringe, it can get overwhelming. Which plays are worth your time? Which plays are going to make you cry, laugh, think? Which plays are going to change your outlook on life? Which plays are going to make you a better person?

I can’t tell you any of that because I haven’t seen any of these plays (and I’m about to go on vacation, so I probably never will). But what I have done to (maybe) make your life easier, is scroll through my inbox (and the Capital Fringe website) and rank every play, show and performance by their name alone. According to their cool titles, these are the 10 best plays at this years Capital Fringe (which runs from 7/5 to 7/28).

TEN – Soul Redeemer

NINE – We’re All Going to Fucking Die

EIGHT – Caribbean Command

SEVEN – Intimate Dinner
