In case you are looking to feel VERY festive about your car rides to-and-from the seemingly endless cycle of holiday parties this week – we have some exciting/terrifying/exciting news for you: LYFT has gotten into the holiday season in a major way with LYFT Merry Mode, which launches today: from December 14-17, passengers in DC will be able to request a car that has been dressed up in an ugly holiday sweater, thanks to the help of world-renowned yarn bombers.
If that wasn’t enough (and for some this may be too much already, but then, just don’t do this) the party continues once you get inside: passengers will have the chance to sing karaoke carols of their choice en route to their destination. To give back and make a difference this holiday season, all Merry Mode fares will be donated to local non-profit Martha’s Table.
Merry Mode will be live at these times in the Washington, DC area:
- 3 PM-12 AM Thursday, December 14
- 3 PM-12 AM Friday, December 15
- 12 PM-12 AM Saturday, December 16
- 12 PM-10 PM Sunday, December 17
