Where do those karma points come in? Proceeds from the download will go to benefit the Cardozo High School Marching Band and music program (children being our future and all) with a small portion going back to the local artists and Listen Local First.

And as for that show today, what can we expect to hear? The nine artists involved allow us a little peek:

  • Justin Trawick will be performing “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” with a “mean kazoo solo” performed by Don Kim and accompanying percussion from a number of other artists
  • Madia will be performing either “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” or “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”, both with accompanying back up vocals….it will be a game time decision.
  • Wytold – Will be performing “Walking in the Air”, the theme from The Snowman and will be accompanied by Gordon Daniels and possibly Tiffany Thompson, and Justin Trawick on back up percussion/ shakers.
  •  Bobbie Allen will be performing an original, “Christmas Without You” with Tiffany Thompson
  •  Don Kim will be performing “All I Want for Christmas is You” with background shakers and vocals from Sam McCormally and Madia
  •  Gordon Daniels will be performing “Merry Christmas Baby” and the version will be “kind of a mix of the Maxi Priest and Otis Redding Versions” with collaborations from Wytold, Justin Trawick, Madia, Don Kim and Bobbie Allen
  • Sam McCormally will be playing an original tune “I Hope You Get What You Want for Christmas”, “It’s a holiday break up song and will likely be the least cheerful of the bunch.”
  • Tiffany Thompson will perform her upbeat rendition of “Joy to the World” “with the one and only Wytold” and percussion from various others.
  • Alex Vans pleads the 5th

do the right thing.
