Brooklyn was dreary dot com on Friday night, but you’d never know it inside The Sultan Room at Turk’s Inn; pure posi-vibes thanks to a stellar album release show from TORRES, and basically, there’s nowhere I’d rather have been. The very funny Meg Stalter lent some REAL GOOD energy with her opening set, and then the one and only TORRES took the stage to perform tracks off Silver Tongue. Q: Is there anything more endearing than a slightly nervous Mackenzie Scott? A: NOPE! Incredibly charming banter in between renditions of the superb batch of new songs, and the hour-long set (which she declared her favorite of all time // SAME, TBH) was over all too soon. Our contributing photographer Michael Gebhardt snapped all the action, so prepare to relive all the magic below!
