We wrote about Washington Project for the Arts’ Annual SynchroSwim in our Your Best August guide because it may be the weirdest thing that happened in D.C. all summer. And by weirdest, we mean the best. Groups of non-professonal synchronized swimmers get together and come up with the strangest performances they can imagine. The performances don’t even have to be synchronized, they just have to make you feel uncomfortable. I mean that in a good way. The winners leave with $250 and the audience gets to leave with the knowledge that they saw something cool happen. Everyone wins.
