Capital Pride kicked off Pride Week with the third annual Stonewall Kickball DragBall tournament this Sunday. The tournament raised money for both Capital Pride and the DC Center. In addition to each team (Team JRs and Team Cobalt) raising at least $250 for the cause, spectators also chipped in a $5 donation. But, it was mostly an excuse to day drink and tan before the big Pride weekend.
Of course, all the festivities this week lead up to our big BYT/Capital Pride SPANDEX Party at the Wonder Bread Factory this Friday night.
