Full disclosure: Logan Hollers, partner of the Poke Pop Up, is a BYT food writer. So we’re not reviewing the food, just letting you know that the Poke Pop Up continues today, May 6 and Friday, May 13, until the food runs out. And if the demand is anything like it was on May 5, the food will run out before the scheduled 10 p.m. close.
We can say, without bias, that a poke restaurant (or food truck), would be a welcome addition to the D.C. dining scene. Chef Kevin Tien’s creations will hopefully have a more permanent home in the District in the near future.
The Poke Pop is at Prequel, 918 F St NW.
