Brooklyn’s Haerts played a special set at the Smithsonian National History Museum last Thursday morning, as part of the museum’s ongoing “Year of the American Innovation” Exhibition. Performing at the Kenneth E. Behring Center, the show featured a more formal setting, contrasting with the vibrant synth pop sound that characterizes Haerts’ debut release. The open auditorium helped provide an exciting and intimate performance that showcased frontwoman Nini Fabi’s powerful vocals, as well as the group’s cohesive energy.
