When Phase One closed last month (whether temporarily or permanently is still not known) some decried the death of lesbian nightlife culture in D.C. After all, Washington had just lost its only women’s bar. Those people couldn’t have been more wrong. Rather than dying, nightlife in Washington has actually been experiencing a resurgence, with multiple parties popping up both in the District and the suburbs. One of our favorite women’s dance events (actually, one of our favorite dance events, period) is glittHER at Zeba Bar, presented by the V DC. We stopped by this past Friday to watch glittHER sprinkle its magic on those who came to party.
