The big question about the opening event of Exposed: The POLAROID Retrospective should not be “who was there?” but “is there anyone who wasn’t there?”. Victoria Milko collected an all star team of both professional and amateur polaroid enthusiasts (many of whom are known for their other creative ventures) and curated what was intended to be a darling, little show soaked in friendship and nostalgia that became the darling, massive Thursday night opening (blessedly, still very much soaked in friendship and nostalgia), proving, yet again, that really, “all” you need is a good idea, good taste and a good team to make something successful in DC.

and the topics ranged from deeply personal to travel to fashion to just about anything that could be caught on instant film. The Exhibit is still on view at SOVA – so if you somehow missed it, hop to it.
