What’s one way to draw even the least athletic to your monthly bike ride event? Add Daft Punk to the mix, obviously. The geniuses behind DC Bike Party–the once-a-month bike community gathering and ride around the Nation’s Capital–decided their theme this month would be, of course, inspired by the DJ duo’s new album Random Access Memories.

Riders and bike enthusiasts of all ages were encouraged to “channel the movie ‘Tron’ and all things ‘robot’ when dressing for the event” and boy, did they deliver. We tagged along on the RoboRide for an evening of glowing shades, cardboard boxes, silver spray paint and even a mobile DJ blasting Daft Punk. Check out our shots from the event and get pumped for next month’s ride (albeit sans robots, probably).
