If last Friday’s SPANDEX Party taught us anything, it’s that choosing a superhero theme for this year’s Capital Pride was THE. PERFECT. CHOICE. We loved nothing more than walking through the District this weekend and seeing superqueens in six-inch heels, the tightest and mini-est of costumes available (Superman undies and nothing else, anyone?) and fabulous, bulging hero muscles.
Of course all of these fierce-ass getups were out in full force at the annual Capital Pride Parade, snaking through 1.5 miles of D.C. streets and gathering over 100,000 people.
