Brew at the Zoo is exactly the type of event you want to see at the National Zoo. The space is large enough that you’re never that cramped. The cause is obvious: animals. The breweries range from behemoths (Goose Island is owned by Budweiser so they count as a behemoth) to teeny tiny mom and pop shops that only operate in one location and events like this. The only negative was the weather. It was a big negative. It was easily 10 degrees warmer under the booths. It was 90 degrees for the majority of the night. Kudos to all of the vendors and volunteers that didn’t pass out.
