Halcyon Stage brought Philly’s very own BalletX to D.C. to put together a performance the likes of which this city has never seen. The contemporary dance company took over Dock 5 to dance to the songs of Amy Winehouse and your favorite mid-2000’s indie band, Beirut. It was a weird set up, with dancers dressed in latex bunny masks and pastel frocks, but it’s just the kind of weird stuff we like.
