If you’re looking for dose of party envy, you’ve come to the right place. Our good friends / the extremely talented folks behind D.C.’s No Kings Collective took over the Hirshhorn for an 80’s tinged celebration of their bonkers exhibition Brand New: Art & Commodity in the 1980s and we have all the photos. Appropriately called $19.89, the party celebrated the launch of No Kings, SUPERWAXX and NoMüNoMü’s posters, which you’ve probably seen all over Instagram.

Some people bounced around the exhibition (which is required viewing if you’re a fan of the Hirshhorn’s specific breed of modern art weirdness) taking photos in front of Barbara Kruger’s iconic capitalist critiques, while others partied the night away downstairs. Lionz of Zion, Ayes Cold, Jerome Baker III + Domo (and many more) brought the jams and there were plenty of No Kings branded condoms. Patrick Bateman would have loved every minute of it.
